We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Theatre Instructor to lead our Summer Stock program. Summer Stock is a creative and fun theatre camp at A Mom's Village for children ages 4-7. This role would involve introducing kids to the basics of performing arts through interactive games, crafts, and a mini-production. You'll develop your student's confidence, teamwork, and creativity while encouraging a love for theatre in a safe and nurturing environment!

Dates Needed: (full week only, 8:45am-12:15pm): 7/7-7/11/25, 7/14-7/18/25, 7/21-7/25/25, 7/28-8/1/25, 8/4-8/8/25, 8/11-8/15/25, 8/18-8/22/25, 8/25-8/29/25

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Theatre activities including games, crafts, songs, and dances.
  2. Execute age-appropriate lessons that teach foundational theatre skills.
  3. Create a safe, supportive environment where children feel comfortable exploring their creativity.
  4. Prepare children for their mini-show at the end of the week where they showcase the songs and dances they learned and the art they created.

Qualifications:

  1. Previous experience in teaching or leading kids theatre or drama programs, or a background in acting or performing arts.
  2. Strong interpersonal skills.
  3. Passion for working with children.
  4. CPR certification preferred.
  5. Must pass a background check.
