JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Penn State Berks is seeking individuals with an interest in STEM related topics to develop and instruct academic based camps for middle school and high school aged students.
Interested parties are required to have a minimum of a bachelors degree in an appropriate discipline with prior teaching experience and enjoy working with children. Camp curriculum must include hands on activities.
Selected applicants must complete Mandated Reporter certification (one hour video training), and complete youth training as required by the University Office of Ethics and Compliance policy.
This job requires the following 3 publicly available clearances:
* PA State Police Criminal Background Check
* PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form
* FBI Criminal Background Check
CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS:
Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
