We are looking for fun and creative Seasonal Camp Counselors!

Do you love spending time with children of all ages? Was your time at summer camp a cherished memory? Would you like to share your experiences and knowledge to make a real difference in the lives of those around you?

As a YMCA Summer Camp Counselor, you are responsible for the successful implementation and delivery of our camp activities. This is a seasonal position that starts at the end of May and runs through mid-August.

Minimum Qualifications

1. High school diploma or GED required
2. At least 18 years of age
3. 1-year experience working with children in a day camp setting preferred
4. Experience with outdoor recreation, songs/music, skits, sports, aquatics, games, etc.
5. Ability to work effectively with people of different backgrounds, abilities, opinions, and perceptions
6. We conduct a comprehensive background check for all employees who work with children and youth
