Potelco, Inc. in Hubbard, OR, is offering an Associate Project Manager Intern position for Summer 2027. You will work under experienced Project Managers across life-cycle phases, gaining hands-on experience in utility construction and project documentation.

The 8-10 week program emphasizes safety, collaboration, and growth, with real responsibilities in costs, schedules, and reporting, and a paid $25/hour internship benefiting your development.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled student at time of internship, preferably in a Construction Management program.
• Minimum GPA of 3.2.
• Basic oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with Word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, project management, and email software.
• Willingness to travel to job sites.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
• Enthusiasm for learning and growth.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Managers to review project costs, schedules, safety, quality, and completion.
• Assist in preparation and maintenance of construction progress reports, re-projections, and project files.
• Contribute to development of project estimates, pricing, and schedules.
• Aid in creation and upkeep of schedules, budgets, and other project documentation.
• Prepare and maintain cash flows, monthly billing, and assist with change orders.
• Communicate with stakeholders including management, customers, crews, and foremen.
• Monitor and report on project health.
• Prioritize safety in all project activities.
