Job summary

Anthropologie is seeking Buying Interns for the Summer as part of URBN's apparel division. Interns will support daily operations, trend research, and cross-functional collaboration with markets, design, and production.

Open to rising seniors; program runs 6/7–8/13 at the Philadelphia Home Office. This paid internship includes exposure to senior leadership, events, and potential full-time opportunities.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Buying, Merchandising, Business, Fashion, Design or related field.
• Must exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
• Understanding of customer wants and needs and ability to identify trends.
• Ability to prioritize projects and handle multiple tasks.
• Must demonstrate creative thinking.
• Rudimentary understanding of retail math.
• Curious, creative thinker with a strong product eye and enthusiasm for Anthropologie.
• Analytical mindset with an interest in how sales and customer insights inform decisions.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills and eagerness to work cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Open packages and distribute to the appropriate Buyer for review.
• Organize sample areas and manage sample setup.
• Coordinate sample requests for web turnover and meetings.
• Handle mail and respond to emails promptly.
• Take photos and manage digital image packs for items.
