Job summary

Airbus Aerosystems Kinston, Inc is seeking Manufacturing Engineering Summer Interns to support the launch and industrialization of the new production line in Kinston, NC. This is a hands-on internship to gain experience in a fast-paced environment.

You'll work with experienced engineers to implement best practices, troubleshoot issues, interpret drawings, and contribute to productivity improvements while developing core manufacturing skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
• Basic understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and quality control.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; capable of working with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop rework instructions for non-conformities.
• Coordinate with MAP and Design Office engineers to support repairs.
• Lead and support projects to enhance production productivity.
• Maintain and update processes to ensure operational efficiency.
