Job summary

Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility in Mobile, AL is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Summer Intern to support the launch and industrialization of a new production line.

You will work with experienced engineers to implement best practices, troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced setting. The role requires an understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes; CAD familiarity (CATIA/SolidWorks/AutoCAD) is a plus and on-site work at the Mobile facility

Qualifications

• Demonstrates basic understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes and quality control.
• Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop rework instructions to address non-conformities, coordinating with MAP and Design Office engineers as needed.
• Lead and support projects aimed at enhancing production productivity and process improvements.
• Maintain and update processes from a technical standpoint to ensure operational efficiency.
