Job summary

Mount Hermon Association, Inc. seeks an Adventure Guide for Kidder Creek to lead campers on river trips, supervise ropes courses, and supervise outdoor activities. The role emphasizes safety and teamwork in a faith-based community.

You will train in river techniques, lead groups, and support program activities, aligning with MHA’s mission, vision, and values throughout the summer camp sessions.

Qualifications

• 1 year of college experience preferred.
• Current valid driver’s license with clean record.
• CPR/FA certification required before camp.
• KC River Guide School & Swift Water Rescue completion required before summer.

Responsibilities

• Guide river trips on the river and at camp.
• Maintain and inspect equipment; report damage.
• Transport campers to activities and ensure safety.
• Lead debriefs and relate activities to biblical truth.
• Assist with food prep and program support when needed.
