Mount Hermon Association Incorporated seeks a Kidder Creek Adventure Senior Guide to lead campers and staff on river trips and on ropes courses, and to facilitate rock climbing, backpacking, biking and other adventure activities at KC Camp.

The role involves equipment maintenance, transport of campers, safety oversight, and integration of biblical teaching with outdoor experiences. Training and certifications are required upon hiring.

Formación

• At least 1 year of college experience preferred.
• Current valid driver’s license and a clean driving record required.
• CPR/FA certified prior to arriving at camp.
• WFR, WFA or WAFA certification is preferred.
• Must have completed KC River Guide School and Swift Water Rescue prior to summer.
• Must take and pass rock training during staff training.
• Must take ropes lead training and pass ropes guide/lead during staff training.
• Food Handler’s Card.

Responsabilidades

• Guide and lead adventure trips on the river, at camp on ropes courses and in the surrounding areas.
• Care for and inspect river, adventure and recreation equipment; report damages.
• Transport campers to activities; ensure safety during adventure and river activities.
• Assist with food prep at river and Outback.
• Host outback adventure and River groups; assist with KC programs when activities are not operating.
• Lead debriefs with campers and relate experiences to Biblical truth.
• May rotate into guide/counselor roles as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisors.
