C Spire is seeking an Accounting Intern for a Summer 2026 program at our Ridgeland, MS corporate office. You will gain hands-on experience supporting our Accounting and Finance teams, working on meaningful projects, and contributing to daily operations of a high-performing department.

You will learn accounting processes, financial reporting, and systems in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment, preparing you for a career in Accounting or Finance with exposure to the broader C Spire

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Rising college junior, senior, or graduate student actively enrolled at an accredited college or university.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Accounting and Finance departments through projects and daily tasks.
• Assist with accounting functions such as reconciliations, reporting, and data entry.
• Participate in financial analysis and review of departmental processes.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
• Communicate effectively across departments and participate in team meetings.
