BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina's Palmetto GBA offers a 2027 Summer Internship in Columbia. This 12-week, 40-hour on-site program runs May 17–August 6, 2027, with tasks across accounting/finance and related areas under supervision. You’ll gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and networking opportunities in a supportive environment.

US citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance; on-site only in Columbia, SC, during weekdays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion.
• Currently enrolled in college and working towards obtaining a 4-year degree.

Responsabilités

• Assist with maintaining documents, spreadsheets, databases, or related items.
• Use various systems and tools to perform research and support projects.
• Participate in department training to acquire knowledge and skills.
• Assist staff with daily tasks to understand business operations and workflow.
• Attend volunteering and networking events to learn about the healthcare insurance industry.
