Job summary

Rogers Behavioral Health in Wisconsin seeks a Therapist Intern who will develop, coordinate, and facilitate direct social services to patients and their families, under supervision. The role spans inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services.

You'll provide leadership in clinical interventions, maintain timely documentation, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• Completed Bachelor’s Degree and enrolled in a Master’s Degree program in Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
• Working knowledge of therapeutic intervention and techniques for all age groups, as well as the dynamics of human growth and behavior.
• Formal training in management of aggressive patient (NCI) within 60 days of placement; annual re-certification provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide social services to patients and their families/significant others.
• Complete all documentation within required time.
• Complete discharge documentation as required and on time.
• Provide leadership and guidance in the implementation of clinical interventions.
• Communicate professionally and accurately.

The Therapist Intern could work in an acute care setting that includes inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services.

Education/Training Requirements:

• Completed Bachelor's Degree and enrolled in an Master's Degree program in Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
• Working knowledge of therapeutic intervention and techniques for all age groups, as well as the dynamics of human growth and behavior.
• Successful completion of all Rogers onboarding training coursework is required prior to start.
• Formal training in the management of the aggressive patient (NCI) is required within sixty (60) days of date of placement. Annual re-certification is required and will be provided.
• Successful completion of pre-placement background checks through the Rogers system are required.
• Successful occupational health clearance from your provider is required.
