Job summary

CesiumAstro invites Summer 2027 interns to design embedded software for satellite communication systems. You will work closely with engineers on low‑level and high‑level software, including BSPs, end‑use applications, and UIs. Excellent written and verbal communication is required.

Internships are compensated and onsite at CesiumAstro facilities in the United States. The program emphasizes hands‑on, autonomous work and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in BS/MS/PhD in CS/EE/CE at an accredited university.
• GPA 3.5 or higher and advanced coursework in embedded systems.
• Proficient in C or C++ with exposure to CMS and defect tracking.

Responsibilities

• Design embedded software for satellite communication systems.
• Collaborate with Cesium engineers on low/high‑level software.
• Present work to peers, mentors and leadership during the internship.
• Contribute to BSPs, drivers, and user interfaces.
