Job summary

Siemens invites you to join the Smart Buildings Internship Program as a Building Automation Solutions & Service Sales Intern in Summer 2027. You will rotate through departments at the Detroit area office, gaining hands-on experience in sales for Building Automation and Service Sales, with exposure to cross-functional teams and CRM practices.

You will collaborate with Sales Managers and Executives, assist with lead generation, prepare proposals, and develop value-based presentations, while

Qualifications

Current enrollment as an undergraduate at a 4-year US college.
Majors include Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related business/energy programs.
Available to work 40 hours per week for 10 weeks, in or near Detroit.

Responsibilities

Work with Sales Managers and Executives in the local branch office.
Assist sales with lead generation, prospecting, and outreach.
Support creation of sales presentations, proposals, and reports.
Maintain CRM data, track leads, ensure data accuracy.
Shadow sales calls/meetings to learn effective techniques.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to engage customers.
Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities.
Attend team meetings and suggest process improvements.
Rotates through Building Automation, Fire/Life Safety, Security, Energy/Sustainability.
