ATI is seeking a Summer 2027 Product Engineer Intern for its Natrona Heights Operations near Pittsburgh, PA. This onsite program runs June through August 2027 and includes relocation and housing assistance.

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field from an accredited university.
• Strong interest in metals manufacturing, product engineering, or materials processing.
• Fundamental understanding of chemistry, material properties, and heat treatment concepts.

• Assist with technical evaluations of metal products, including sheet, plate, coil, or manufactured forms.
• Review material specifications, customer requirements, product standards, and internal manufacturing practices.
• Analyze chemical composition, mechanical properties, heat treatment results, and data.
• Support investigations related to product quality and process variation.
• Identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, metallurgy, and operations teams.
