Job summary

Amgen is offering an undergraduate internship in Machine Learning Engineering within the Technology & Medical Organizations for Summer 2027. You will participate in designing scalable data pipelines for ingestion and transformation from multiple sources into enterprise data lakes and warehouses.

You will work with data engineers and scientists to clean, prepare, and analyze data, support automated model training and deployment, and contribute to internal data visualizations and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Engineering or related field.
• GPA 3.0+ expected; full-time student status during internship.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing data pipelines for ingestion and transformation.
• Collaborate with data engineers and scientists on data prep and analysis.
• Develop and test ML model training, evaluation and deployment pipelines.
• Create visualizations and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
