Amgen invites students to join as a Grad Intern – Machine Learning Engineer in Technology, AI & Data for Summer 2027. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree completed; enrolled in relevant internship program or completed first year in MBA/MS/PhD program.
Strong Python/R skills with data manipulation and ML basics.
Experience with SQL and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

Clean, prepare, and analyze structured and unstructured data with data engineers/scientists.
Support model training, evaluation, and deployment pipelines.
Explore pharmaceutical datasets for data-driven insights.
Design visualizations and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
Apply statistics including hypothesis testing, regression, and classification.
Collaborate to implement and monitor ML models in production.
Document technical processes, models, and tools.
Experiment with data engineering and MLOps tools.
Participate in agile ceremonies and team workflows.
