Amgen is offering a Grad Intern Data Engineer position within the Technology & Medical Organizations for Summer 2027 in the United States. You will work closely with product owner and cross-functional teams to design and develop data pipelines, using Python, SQL and AWS to extract, transform, and load data into the Enterprise Data Lake.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Graduated with a bachelors degree from an accredited college or university.
• Currently enrolled in an MBA program for an MBA internship OR a Masters program for an Masters internship OR a PharmD program for a PharmD internship OR Ph.D. for a PhD internship from an accredited college or university and completion of the first year of MBA OR Masters OR Pharm D OR Ph.D. program before the internship starts

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with lead Architects, Business SMEs and Data Scientists.
• Design and develop end-to-end data pipelines and support infrastructure.
• Build new infrastructure and analytics tools using Python, SQL and AWS
• Automate tasks and develop reusable frameworks; participate in rapid PoC solutions and services
