Job summary

Permian Resources is offering a paid summer internship program in Midland, Texas. The Human Resources Intern will assist with hiring, onboarding, offboarding, and records maintenance while supporting performance management and employee inquiries.

Ideal candidates are pursuing or have completed a degree in Human Resource Management or Business, with strong communication skills and the ability to work on a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer and/or educational institution.
• Pursuing or have completed a degree in Human Resource Management, Business or related fields.
• Current level in college: Sophomore through Graduate student.
• Expected graduation: Fall 2027 through Spring/Fall 2029.
• Available for internship start mid-late May 2027.
• A minimum of 12 continuous weeks’ availability for internship.
• Minimum GPA 3.0; extenuating circumstances considered for lower GPAs.
• Must be able to handle multiple projects and work in a performance-driven, team-oriented environment.

Job Description: Permian Resources is offering internship opportunities to college students to help their career development while advancing the objectives of the company. These paid summer intern opportunities will grant hands-on experience related to their field of study by working on specific projects that will aid their learning and add value to the Company. Each intern will be paired with a manager and mentor who will provide technical guidance throughout the internship. Along with their projects, interns will take part in a multitude of activities such as training, field tours, volunteer and networking opportunities with executives. The internship will culminate with a presentation crafted to showcase your knowledge of your work assignments and other aspects of your internship experiences.

The candidate could assist with employee hiring, pre-employment, onboarding, offboarding, and records maintenance. The candidate could also support the performance management process by assisting in goal setting and performance evaluations. In addition, the candidate could work to provide guidance and support for employee inquiries and concerns. The ideal candidate will have strong technical as well as communication skills and be able to contribute his/her expertise while working on multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Must be able to handle multiple projects and obtain results in a performance driven, team-oriented environment
