Job summary

Permian Resources invites engineering students to join its paid Summer Internship Program in Midland, Texas. Interns will be paired with a manager and mentor, work on drilling, completions, production, facilities, or reservoir projects, and gain hands-on experience through real projects and field tours.

The program emphasizes technical growth, teamwork, and communication, with a capstone presentation summarizing learnings. Open to sophomores through graduate students for Summer 2027.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or have completed a degree in Engineering or related field.
• Current level in college: Sophomore through Graduate student.
• A minimum of 12 weeks of internship availability.
• Eligible to work in the United States full-time while not being limited by current employer or school.

Responsibilities

• Analyze drilling operations and plan facility infrastructure.
• Support production and completions, facilities, or reservoir projects.
• Contribute to multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
• Deliver a final presentation showcasing internship work and learnings.
