Job summary

Permian Resources is offering a paid summer internship in Human Resources in Midland, Texas, designed for college students to develop their careers while advancing company objectives. Each intern will be paired with a mentor, participate in training, field tours, and networking with executives, culminating in a final project presentation.

The HR Internship Program targets majors in HRM or Business, requires 12 weeks minimum, and seeks individuals with strong communication and technical skills

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Pursuing or have completed a degree in Human Resource Management, Business or related fields.
• Current level in college: Sophomore through Graduate student.
• Expected graduation: Fall 2027 through Spring/Fall 2029.
• Available for internship start mid-late May 2027.
• A minimum of 12 continuous weeks’ availability for internship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with employee hiring, pre-employment, onboarding, offboarding, and records maintenance.
• Support the performance management process by assisting in goal setting and performance evaluations.
• Provide guidance and support for employee inquiries and concerns.

Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is currently seeking a Human Resources Intern for the Summer of 2027 Intern Program in Midland, Texas. The candidate could assist with employee hiring, pre-employment, onboarding, offboarding, and records maintenance. The candidate could also support the performance management process by assisting in goal setting and performance evaluations. In addition, the candidate could work to provide guidance and support for employee inquiries and concerns. The ideal candidate will have strong technical as well as communication skills and be able to contribute his/her expertise while working on multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer and/or education institution
• Pursuing or have completed a degree in Human Resource Management, Business or related fields
• Current level in college: Sophomore through Graduate student
• Expected graduation: Fall of 2027 through Spring/Fall of 2029

• A minimum of 12 continuous weeks’ availability for internship

Preferred Qualifications

• A minimum cumulative and major GPA of a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
• Lower GPAs in the applicant’s field of study may be considered if extenuating circumstances apply
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
• Must be able to handle multiple projects and obtain results in a performance driven, team-oriented environment
