Job summary

Permian Resources is offering a paid summer internship in Human Resources in Midland, Texas, designed for college students to develop their careers while advancing company objectives. Each intern will be paired with a mentor, participate in training, field tours, and networking with executives, culminating in a final project presentation.

The HR Internship Program targets majors in HRM or Business, requires 12 weeks minimum, and seeks individuals with strong communication and technical skills

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Pursuing or have completed a degree in Human Resource Management, Business or related fields.
• Current level in college: Sophomore through Graduate student.
• Expected graduation: Fall 2027 through Spring/Fall 2029.
• Available for internship start mid-late May 2027.
• A minimum of 12 continuous weeks’ availability for internship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with employee hiring, pre-employment, onboarding, offboarding, and records maintenance.
• Support the performance management process by assisting in goal setting and performance evaluations.
• Provide guidance and support for employee inquiries and concerns.
• Work on a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
