Job summary

Trautman & Shreve, Inc. in Colorado is seeking a Construction Project Engineer – Intern to support the project team with coordinating information for execution, scheduling, and billing. You will assist with organization, budgeting, and implementing project tasks under supervision of the Project Manager.

The role offers hands-on experience in field coordination, document control, and subcontractor management, with opportunities to learn safety practices, takeoffs, and project closeout.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Pursuing BS in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and project management/document control software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager with coordinating project information for execution, scheduling and billing.
• Support document control, including RFI’s, submittals, change orders, and correspondence.
• Ensure documents are saved in the project document control software.
• Track deliveries and integrate into overall project and manpower schedules.
• Assist field personnel in closeout and gather information for changes in work and estimating.
