HITT Contracting Inc. invites students to join the 2027 HITT Futures Internship Program in Dallas for a 10-week, mentored experience in construction management.

You will work alongside project managers and superintendents, gaining hands-on exposure to bid packages, submittals, RFIs, document control, and site coordination. Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in construction, engineering, or business.
• Previous internship, volunteer work, or work experiences are a plus.
• Passion for construction and general contracting industry.
• Ability to work approximately 40 hours per week for the duration of the 10-week program.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Support project delivery alongside project managers and superintendents.
• Assist with subcontractor and supplier coordination, material tracking, and file management.
• Contribute to document control processes including submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
• Aid in bid package preparation and soliciting/evaluating subcontractor bids.
• Assist with progress reporting and client communication.
• Support jobsite activities such as reviewing drawings, site conditions, and safety/quality control.
• Engage in networking and professional development events and training.
