RSUI Group, Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia, invites motivated students to join our Actuarial department as a Summer 2027 Actuarial Intern.

This paid, full-time internship offers hands-on experience with reserving, pricing, and data analysis while collaborating with our experienced Actuarial team on day-to-day activities and projects. You will apply mathematical skills to assess risk, learn the wholesale specialty model, and see how our team informs key business decisions.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related field; Fall 2027 or later graduation.
• Passed at least one actuarial exam.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with SQL, R, VBA, Python, or AI tools is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask.
• Must work onsite at Buckhead office a minimum of three days per week.

RSUI has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and passionate student to join our Actuarial department as a Summer 2027 Actuarial Intern in Atlanta, Georgia!

In the commercial excess and surplus lines space, our actuaries work with distinctive data and bring creative approaches to their work – combining strong technical skills with the collaborative instincts needed to help inform key business decisions. This paid, full-time internship offers the unique opportunity to work alongside our experienced Actuarial team on impactful day-to-day activities and special projects. You'll get hands-on experience applying mathematical skills to assess risk, learn how the wholesale specialty insurance model works, and see firsthand how our Actuarial team helps drive company success while collaborating across our business. What You’ll Accomplish:

What We’re Looking For:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or a related field; master’s students may also be considered. Expected graduation date of Fall 2027 or later.


• Passed at least one Actuarial exam.


• Proficient experience in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.


• Experience with programming languages (SQL, R, VBA, Python), databases, and/or AI tools is a plus.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills.


• A passion for learning – ability to “be a sponge” and try new things.


• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask.


• Enjoys working both independently and as part of a team.


• Work onsite from our Buckhead office a minimum of three days per week.
