Position Summary

The Suites Operations Supervisor provides support and assistance with Suite Catering activities (including Gameday and Private Functions) as well as providing assistance to the concession and warehouse managers in the profitable management of concessions operations, as needed. The Suites Operations Supervisor will actively assist the Suites & Catering Manager and Director of Premium in aspects of employee relations to ensure a positive, harmonious, compliant, and cooperative work environment.

The candidate must provide a high level of event oversight, technical proficiency, and operational/personnel support to ensure the smooth running of any assigned event.

This is a key position for the effective operation of the business. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work a variable event-driven schedule which includes evenings and weekends. Open availability, professional presentation, outstanding interpersonal skills, self-direction, and strong technical (computer and POS) aptitude are required.

This role pays an hourly rate of $24.00-$28.00.

Responsibilities
  1. Assists in the overall effective management of Suite Catering operations.
  2. Must demonstrate ability to develop, read and comprehend Banquet Event Orders.
  3. Supervises & assists in the preparation of service spaces, Private Suites, Shared Suites, Hospitality spaces, Suite Pantries, etc prior to Event Day.
  4. Responsible for full knowledge of the food and beverage menu and sharing the knowledge with staff as well as the guests including, ingredients, portion sizes, pricing, and preparation.
  5. Assist, Coach & Supervise service team throughout an Event.
  6. Ensures total compliance with all alcohol service policies.
  7. Monitors alcohol service & sales throughout event to assure 100% compliance with Alcohol Service policies.
  8. Reports any alcohol service or compliance issues to management immediately.
  9. Monitor product quality and ensure high level of guest service.
  10. Assists in troubleshooting technical problems with Point of Sale Systems, from both a hardware and software perspective.
  11. Assist with the troubleshooting of any food service equipment issues when found.
  12. Report ongoing concerns to the Suites & Catering Manager.
  13. Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
  14. Assist in the ongoing training, development, mentoring, and supervision of hourly employees, as directed by department managers.
  15. Responsible for evaluating designated Catering spaces after each Event for proper cleanliness and Inventory levels.
  16. Assist in the management of catered events from set-up to tear down (non-matchday when applicable).
  17. Manages payment processing for all event orders prior to event close, communicate any concerns to the Suites & Catering Manager to troubleshoot.
  18. Assist Suites & Catering Manager with administrative duties including monthly inventory.
Qualifications
  1. Familiar with inventory cost control and menu planning.
  2. Basic computer proficiency: E-mail, Excel, Word, Outlook.
  3. Working knowledge of Point of Sale systems.
  4. Ability to work a variable work schedule (including evenings and weekends, as required), depending upon event and business requirements.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Related experience and training in Fine Dining, Catering/Banquets, and/or Event Operations.
  7. Previous management or supervisory experience in a fast-paced food and beverage environment.
  8. Nationally recognized, advanced food service sanitation training course certification (ServSafe).
