Job summary

Levy Sector at American Airlines Center seeks a motivated Suites Food & Beverage Runner to join our Premium Suites team. This event-based, part-time role delivers food and beverage orders to luxury suites, restaurants, and premium dining areas while providing exceptional guest service in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Average shift length is 7–8 hours. Uniform provided; payout is hourly rate plus a service charge tip pool.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of one year of hospitality, catering, stadiums/arenas, clubs, or full-service restaurant experience preferred.
• TABC Certification and ServSafe Certification (or the ability to obtain within required timeframe).
• Excellent customer service, communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverage orders to luxury suites, restaurants, and premium dining areas.
• Build, run, and break down dessert carts during games and events.
• Preopen preorders and day-of-event orders for food and beverages.
• Return dirty dishes to the kitchen and collect leftovers for the liquor room.
• Support premium suite service in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary

Levy at American Airlines Center is seeking a motivated, energetic, and guest-focused event-based part-time Food & Beverage Runner to join our Premium Suites team. This event-based, part-time position is responsible for delivering food and beverage orders to luxury suites, restaurants, and premium dining areas while providing exceptional guest service in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for servicing premium suites (Suites located throughout 3 levels of the building)
• Responsible for distro-ing cold/hot food & beverage preorders before doors to the arena open
• Responsible for distro-ing cold/hot food & beverage day of event orders during the event
• Food drops - responsible for placing hot food in chaffers or on heating elements - proper utensils must be dropped with each food item
• Beverage drops - responsible for placing beverage neatly on the bar top, in a fridge or beverage housing, if specified on the ticket
• End of night - responsible for going suite to suite to collect all dirty dishes and return to the kitchen at the end of the night
• End of night - responsible for going suite to suite to collect all left over beverages and return them to the liquor room at the end of the night
• During Mavs & Stars games - responsible for building, running out and breaking down dessert carts based on specified routes
• Suites are OPEN for ALL events (Mavs, Stars & Third Party events)
• Average shift length for Suites F/B runner: 7-8 hours
• Uniform for Suite F/B runner: black non-slip shoes, black slacks, black non-logo polo (provided)
• Payout: hourly rate + service charge tip pool split

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in hospitality, catering, hotels, stadiums/arenas, clubs, or full-service restaurants preferred.
• Previous premium hospitality or event venue experience is a plus.
• Valid TABC Certification and ServSafe Food Handler Certification (or the ability to obtain within the required timeframe).
• Excellent customer service, communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Ability to bend, lift, or carry 50lbs or more.
