Job summary

Sugarloaf Mountain Corporation is seeking BarBacks for the upcoming ski season at Widowmaker and Bullwinkle's locations. This entry-level, minimum wage role supports bartenders in a fast-paced resort environment and offers hands-on training with our professional team.

Part-time and full-time openings are available, with start dates aligned to opening day as locations come online. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys early hill mornings and learning the ropes of bartending while gaining

Qualifications

• Willingness to work weekdays, nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Experience in bar support or hospitality is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Daily preparation of items used in drinks.
• Prepare bar for service and maintain cleanliness.

Overview

Sugarloaf is currently looking for BarBacks to join our team for the upcoming ski season at our Widowmaker and Bullwinkle's locations. As a BarBack you are responsible for providing support to the bartending staff in a fast-paced environment to ensure timely service of drinks and the cleanliness of resort bars.

This minimum wage role is a great position for applicants who are interested in bartending but would first like to get first-hand experience and extra training time with our professional bartending team.

We currently have part time and full-time openings that are expected to start on or shortly after our opening day as locations come online for the season.

This role comes with great job perks and would be an excellent fit for someone that enjoys getting out on the hill first thing in the morning before starting their shift.

Responsibilities

The BarBack'stypical job functions include:

• Daily preparation of items used in drinks


• Effectively preparing bar for service


• Keeping stock on all items including beer, liquor, wine, and supplies


• Maintaining organized working and storage areas


• Lifting/Carrying up to 50 lbs

Qualifications

Candidates must be willing to work weekdays, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
