Position Purpose

Our team works on diverse projects, including municipal, university, NCDOT, private, and commercial developments.

Essential Functions + Responsibilities

• Perform SUE/utility locating on various projects
• Support the Geomatics team with CAD and office-related responsibilities
• Utilize MicroStation Drafting, Geomatics Technology, Engineering Technology, or related skills
• Learn about different utility systems and their installation
• Operate equipment such as EM, Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), and vacuum excavation tools
• Represent McAdams professionally, adhering to safety and ethical standards

Qualifications

• Experience related to Land Surveying, SUE, or similar roles
• Proficiency in MicroStation
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 1-2 years of survey experience
• Willingness to travel and operate survey equipment
• Ability to work outdoors in various conditions
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass a drug test
