LJA Inc. is seeking a SUE Director to lead and grow the SUE and utility coordination practice, bridging operational management, technical excellence, and business development.

The role focuses on guiding field crews, planning, and client engagement across regions. You will oversee project planning, ensure quality and budget adherence, and drive market expansion while maintaining ASCE-grade compliance and strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Geography, Geomatics, Engineering, GIS or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years verifiable experience using electromagnetic (EM) Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and other geophysical designating technologies.
• Familiarity with ASCE 38-22 and ability to locate all utilities (water, gas, electric, etc.).
• Familiarity with surface geophysical equipment, vacuum excavation, and utility mapping standards.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day SUE field crews, project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure quality and budget adherence.
• Drive regional market expansion, prepare proposals, and build relationships with clients and utility owners.
• Ensure compliance with SUE quality levels (ASCE guidelines) and industry standards.
