Job summary

Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. (LAN) seeks an experienced SUE Project Manager to lead subsurface utility engineering and utility coordination efforts from planning through construction. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, staffing, and quality, coordinating with utility owners and project stakeholders.

A PE license is preferred; non-licensed professionals with adequate experience may qualify. You will oversee field operations, client communications, and business development while

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• At least ten years of experience in subsurface utility engineering and/or utility coordination
• PE license and 6 years of experience may substitute

Responsibilities

• Manage SUE and utility coordination projects from scope development through closeout
• Establish project scope, schedule, budget, staffing, and communication protocols
• Direct SUE services per ASCE 38-22 and client requirements
• Coordinate field crews, engineers, designers, and specialty service providers
• Develop and maintain utility contact lists, records-request logs, and conflict matrices
• Mentor and develop junior staff
