Job summary

DCCM is seeking a Civil Engineer in Houston to perform design calculations and develop utility plans using MicroStation, AutoCAD, or Civil 3D for SUE projects. You will conduct field visits and collaborate with a team to prepare documents that meet client goals, timelines, and budgets.

The role requires a degree in Civil Engineering, preferably a Texas EIT, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. You will engage with professional organizations and contribute to business development in the Houston

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or master's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Texas EIT Certification preferred.
• Proficient with Microstation, AutoCAD, or Civil 3D.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Perform civil engineering design calculations; develop utility plans utilizing Microstation, AutoCAD, or Civil 3D software for Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Projects.
• Conduct field visits to job sites and gather information for clients.
• Work within a team to produce engineering data for development of documents that meet client goals, schedule, and budget.
• Represent the Company in professional, civic, and political organizations and activities.
• Engage in business development efforts within the Houston area on behalf of the Company.
• Develop and deepen relationships with current and prospective clients.
• Represent the Company in client meetings when required.
• Learn SUE Technologies, electromagnetic equipment, and Trimble equipment.
