LifePath Systems in McKinney, TX is seeking an OSAR counselor to support substance use services for ages 13 and up. You will work with community resources, attend outreach events, and coordinate referrals to contracted treatment providers.

Responsibilities include screenings, financial and psychosocial assessments, care coordination, trauma-informed practice, and ensuring OSAR services are available 8 hours per day on weekdays in Collin County; some travel may be required.

Formación

• LCDC required; Intern considered if license obtained within 90 days.
• Two years in community mental health with adults and youth preferred.
• Well-versed in DSM and psychosocial assessment.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred for service delivery.

Responsabilidades

• Provide substance-use screening for individuals referred to LifePath Systems.
• Build relationships with community resources and MOUs as needed.
• Coordinate referrals and warm hand-offs to contracted providers.
• Complete psychosocial and financial assessments where applicable.
• Deliver trauma‑informed, person‑centered care and crisis de‑escalation when needed.
