Subway's Johnny’s Market location in Michigan is hiring a Assistant Manager to help run the restaurant around the clock and cover second and third shifts when the Manager is away.

You’ll lead a team, uphold policies, ensure cleanliness, safety, and great customer service, manage cash, inventory, training, scheduling, and report daily bookwork and deposits when the Manager is not present.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to supervise and train staff.
• Comfort with cash handling and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Help the Subway Manager keep the facility clean, safe, well-supplied, and well-staffed.
• Set the bar for excellent customer service and address complaints promptly.
• Control and maintain cash levels and manage operating expenses and inventory.
• Handle HR duties including training, scheduling, and supervising your team.
• Help order, receive, and rotate stock, and check in vendors.
• Follow franchise guidelines for pricing, displays, and promotions.
• Rotate food according to franchise standards and report loss.
• Report maintenance problems, accidents, security issues, and emergencies.
• When Manager is away, complete daily bookwork, make daily bank deposits, and verify change.
