Job Opportunity: Subsurface Utility Technician

ESP Associates, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Subsurface Utility Technician to join our team in Hendersonville, NC.

Qualifications:

• Experience in land surveying, including comprehensive knowledge of conventional, robotic, and GPS surveying functions such as static, fast static, RTK, and VRS.
• Proficiency with Trimble data collection, GPS receivers, and robotic total stations.
• Utility mapping skills and SUE experience are a plus.
• Computer skills for data management, including downloading data, preparing/organizing field sketches & digital photographs, completing checklists & timesheets, and vehicle navigation.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, navigation programs, and Trimble Data Transfer is advantageous.
• Ability to pass a drug screen, background check, and maintain a satisfactory driving record per company policy.
• Position involves out-of-town travel with provided meal per diem and lodging.
• Must be able to work outside in various environmental conditions.
