Job summary

Peak Utility Infrastructure, an integrated engineering and construction company serving electric, gas, and telecom, is seeking a Damage Prevention Specialist I to identify and mark underground utilities.

You will operate locate tools, collect GPS data, and document excavation notices while adhering to safety and quality standards. Entry-level HIP training is provided; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience locating underground utilities is a plus but not required.
• HIP locating training up to 45 days for entry level.
• Entry level HIP technician including field audits and Pipe-to-Soil projects.

Responsibilities

• Identify and mark subsurface utilities to prevent damage.
• Collect GPS data and map utility locates.
• Operate locate tools and document excavation status and notices.
• Communicate with supervision and clients; maintain records.
• Perform duties safely in all weather and terrains.
