Sylvania in Copperas Cove, TX, seeks a Campus Coordinator, Substitutes to secure substitute teachers at the high school and provide clerical support to the campus office.
The role requires a high school diploma, two years of secretarial experience, and strong typing and organization. You will open the campus office each morning, manage attendance logs, handle mail, and assist students, staff, and parents while maintaining confidentiality.
Responsible for securing substitute teachers at the high school and provide clerical services for the school's administrative staff.
High school diploma
Proficient typing, word processing, and file maintenance skills
Effective organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of basic accounting principles
Ability to use personal computer and software to develop spreadsheets, databases, and do word processing
Two years secretarial experience, preferably in a public education environment
Arrange for substitute teachers.
Open campus office and operate switchboard during early morning hours.
Prepare written correspondence, forms, schedules, and reports using typewriter or personal computer, and properly route.
Maintain a daily faculty and staff attendance log and the records for substitute teachers.
Maintain personnel time records to include sick leave, vacation, and special requests; compile information and submit to the central business office.
Assist students, teachers, and parents as needed.
Sort, distribute, or deliver mail and other documents.
Maintain confidentiality.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Personal computer, typewriter, printer, calculator, and copier.
Mental Demands: Reading; ability to perform basic arithmetic, communicate effectively (verbal, and operate a personal computer.
Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Repetitive hand motions; ability to work irregular hours.
