Job summary

Asbury Park Board of Education is seeking a Substitute/Teacher Aide to cover classes in the absence of the regular teacher. The role requires delivering age-appropriate instruction and maintaining classroom order in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains discipline and classroom control in order to promote active learning in the classroom while teaching the outlined lesson and implementing the lesson plan(s).
• Ensures the adequate supervision to assure health, welfare, and safety of all students.
• Maintains and respects the confidentiality of student and school personnel information.
• Performs other duties within the scope of his/her employment and certification as may be assigned.
