Job summary

Durham Academy is seeking highly qualified substitute teachers for Preschool, Lower School, Middle School and Upper School to ensure continuity of instruction in the absence of regular teachers.

Responsibilities include taking attendance, carrying out lesson plans, maintaining classroom structure, supporting students academically, and collaborating with colleagues while adhering to the school's procedures and guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in education or related academic area) and experience working with children in an educational environment
  • Must be dependable and willing to report for class assignment on short notice
  • Should be familiar with online and in-person training and instructional techniques

Substitute Teachers
