Job summary

Target Range Elementary District is seeking a Substitute Teacher/Paraeducator to support instructional time and student engagement. You will implement existing plans, motivate students to learn, and participate in classroom activities.

Responsibilities include following lesson plans, supervising students, and reporting incidents to staff. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; experience with young learners is preferred. This is an on-call, day-to-day position with monthly pay.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching or working directly with children.
• Proficiency in handling diverse classroom needs and student behavior.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students on classroom topics and courses.
• Follow provided lesson plans and assign tasks/homework.
• Accommodate various learning styles and provide supports.
• Model correct spoken and written English.
• Maintain a safe, positive classroom environment and supervise students.
• Report injuries or disciplinary issues to school personnel.
• Prepare for long-term assignments by developing plans and assessing student progress.
