West Ridge Academy Charter seeks a Substitute Teacher to cover classes as needed for the 2026-27 school year. This non-exempt role requires a Colorado teaching license and/or substitute authorization. Compensation is $150 per day or $75 per half day, with work on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities include maintaining classroom discipline, checking substitute materials, and completing required forms. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively and adapt to daily teaching assignments.

Qualifications

• Must hold Colorado Teaching License and/or Substitute Authorization.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pupil behavior during class, lunch, and recess as assigned.
• Check teacher's mailbox for bulletins and money sacks.
• Record daily grades and maintain grade book entries.
• Complete substitute time sheet and sign off with office staff.
