Job summary

Middletown Christian Schools is seeking qualified Substitute Teachers to cover classes as needed in the K-12 building in Franklin, OH. This role requires delivering instruction using provided plans and maintaining a respectful, safe classroom aligned with Christian values.

The substitute will report to the Vice Principal, hold or obtain an Ohio teaching license, and participate in a fast-paced call-list process for absences.

Additional working conditions may include:

• Occasional exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and tissue.
• Occasional operation of a vehicle under inclement weather conditions.
• May have interaction with an unruly student.
• Occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull various items up to a maximum of 40 pounds (100 pounds on wheels), e.g., paper boxes, deliveries of supplies and equipment.

School contractors will be required to follow the instructions and perform the duties required by their supervisor, appointing authority, or designee .
