Job summary

Middletown Christian Schools is seeking qualified Substitute Teachers to cover classes as needed in the K-12 building in Franklin, OH. This role requires delivering instruction using provided plans and maintaining a respectful, safe classroom aligned with Christian values.

The substitute will report to the Vice Principal, hold or obtain an Ohio teaching license, and participate in a fast-paced call-list process for absences.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Implement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher.
• Maintain a classroom environment that is orderly, respectful, and conducive to learning.
• Uphold the school’s Christian values in both conduct and instruction.
• Communicate effectively with students and staff.
• Manage student behavior according to school policies.
• Leave documentation of the day’s activities for the regular teacher.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
