Job summary

A local school district in the United States is seeking Substitute Teachers to support classroom needs on an as-needed basis. Candidates must have at least a High School Diploma and previous experience working with students is highly recommended. Licensed substitutes earn $130 a day, with options for non-licensed substitutes also available. This position is contingent on final Board approval and does not guarantee hours or continued employment. Candidates will submit applications online through Frontline.

• $120.00 per full day for Non Licensed Substitutes with Substitute Effective Teacher Training or Substitute 101 Course
• $116.25 per full day for Non Licensed Substitutes

Additional Information

• Substitutes are employed on an "as needed" basis. Hours and continued employment are not guaranteed, therefore this position is not considered "permanent".
• Teaching staff and principals schedule their own substitutes through an online website (AESOP)
• Substitute performance and other staff observations will determine whether a substitute will return to the school.
• Administrators reserve the right to schedule all preferred substitutes.
• Substitutes are not permitted to work more than (30) hours per week. This is equivalent to 3 1/2 days per week.
• Employment with the Madison County Schools is contingent upon final Board approval.
