Job summary

Central Bucks School District is seeking substitute school bus drivers for the Transportation Department. These part-time, on-call roles let you work the days you choose based on need in the department.

A safe driving record, CDL training commitment, and ability to complete required clearances and a physical including drug/alcohol tests are essential prior to starting. EOE.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Willingness to complete CDL training.
• Ability to pass required clearances and background checks, and obtain a School Bus Driver medical exam including drug/alcohol tests.

Description

CBSD is accepting applications for SUBSTITUTE School Bus Drivers.
These substitute positions allow you to work the days you choose, depending on need in the department.
Candidate must have an excellent driving record and be knowledgeable of safety regulations.
Must be able to communicate effectively and follow written and verbal instructions.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Must be willing to complete training to obtain a current Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
If offered a position, candidate must provide all required clearances and background checks and current School Bus Driver physical examination, including drug/alcohol tests, prior to beginning work. Additional information will be presented at time of interview.
