Fremont RE-2 School District is seeking a Substitute Nutrition Services Worker to support school kitchens and nutrition programs when regular staff are unavailable.
You will assist with food preparation, meal service, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment in strict adherence to state, federal, and district guidelines.

The Substitute Nutrition Services Worker provides temporary support to school kitchens and nutrition programs in the absence of regularly assigned nutrition services staff. This position assists with food preparation, meal service, kitchen cleanliness, and other duties necessary to support the district's student nutrition program while maintaining a safe and sanitary food service environment. Substitute staff are expected to follow all district procedures, food safety regulations, and applicable state and federal guidelines for school nutrition programs.

Substitute positions are temporary, on-call, and as-needed. Assignments are determined by district substitute needs and availability and do not guarantee regular hours, ongoing assignments, or continued employment. Typical assignments may vary depending on building needs.
Compensation will be in accordance with the Fremont RE-2 Substitute Salary Schedule. Substitute employees are not eligible for district benefits.
