Fremont RE-2 School District seeks a Substitute Custodian to provide temporary custodial support in the absence of regular staff. You will clean classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and other facilities, following district procedures and safety guidelines.
Position is substitute/as-needed, on-site, with duties including setup/cleanup for events and collaboration with staff and administration.

The Substitute Custodian provides temporary custodial support in the absence of regularly assigned custodial staff. This position assists with maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly school environment by performing routine custodial duties in classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and other school facilities.
Substitute custodians are expected to follow district cleaning procedures, safety guidelines, and facility maintenance expectations while supporting the overall operations of district buildings and grounds.

Substitute positions are temporary, on-call, and as-needed. Assignments are determined by district substitute needs and availability and do not guarantee regular hours, ongoing assignments, or continued employment. Typical assignments may vary depending on building needs.
Compensation will be in accordance with the Fremont RE-2 Substitute Salary Schedule. Substitute employees are not eligible for district benefits.
