Substitute Nurses

Registered Nurses (RN): Per diem rate is $245.00 per day

Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN): Per diem rate is $175.00 per day

Duties/Responsibilities:

The District is seeking Substitute Nurse candidates who demonstrate the personal, professional, and organizational skills necessary to manage a diverse workload and work cooperatively and collaboratively with the district's interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Health supervision of students in grades Pre-K to 12
2. Administration of medication
3. Delivery of treatments
4. Other duties as assigned

Education/Certification Required:

- Current Connecticut license as a Registered Nurse or LPN; School nurse and/or pediatric nurse experience preferred.
