  • Current Driver's License in the state of the position (if you will be required to drive during the shift)

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team!



This is a professional position which involves providing direct nursing care to individuals with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities as well as maintaining medical records to comply with current nursing practice and state regulation.



The Registered Nurse will:



  • Work with individuals with varying levels of IDD (intellectual developmental disabilities).

  • Communicate clearly verbally and in writing.

  • Work and communicate effectively with supervisor, colleagues, physicians, parent/guardians, etc.

  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor for reactions and side effects, as needed.

  • Perform basic nursing procedures (which may include: urine catheterization, wound care, tracheostomy care, diabetic checks/care, feeding tube administration/care, suctioning, etc), as needed.

  • Perform health assessments of the individuals per protocol.

  • Monitor, report and record changes in an individual's condition.

  • Serve as a resource to staff LPNs, as needed.

  • Perform other duties as assigned depending on setting (group home vs campus) as well as needs of the individuals who reside at specific work location.
