The Environmental Charter School is seeking a Substitute Nurse to support student health services across campus. The nurse works with the Director of Health Services, teachers, and staff to provide timely care and administer medications as ordered.
The ideal candidate is an RN or LPN licensed in Pennsylvania with at least two years of nursing experience; school health experience is preferred. Travel between school buildings may be required.

The Substitute Nurse will work closely with the Director of Health Services, teachers, support staff, and administration providing health services to the school community. Candidates should be an RN or LPN, energetic and progressive minded, with a willingness to work collaboratively with the school community. The substitute nurse will be responsible to administer aid to students who are ill or injured, administer medications as ordered by physician, and provide other health services as ordered by physician.
$130.00/day plus participation in a generous 403(b) retirement program after 400 hours employment.
Clearances current within one year of hire date will be required. This includes Arrest/Conviction Disclosure, Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151), Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Clearance (Act 114), and FBI Criminal Background Check. Mandated Reporter Training and Commonwealth of PA Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release (Act 168) also will be required.
